I have discussed and configured tons of great things—many very important things. Most of the topics in this chapter covered items used on a daily basis in the average network. I started off talking about VLANs and how to configure them, and it won't be every day that you make a new VLAN. But you will need to know different ways to create VLANs in the database. Remember, when you associate a port with a VLAN, if the VLAN doesn't exist in the database, it will be created when you try to put the first port into it. So, knowing all the ways that you can create a VLAN is very important.
