Now that you have learned much of the technology and many of the functions of the Enterprise Campus module, it is time to look at the edge of the network. You learned about the protocols and functions necessary to build switch blocks and connect them with redundant and deterministic paths. You worked your way up the TCP/IP stack, filling in the pieces that build the Enterprise Campus module. You learned about the switching technologies that connect all of the end devices to the network, and the routing protocols that connect all of the subnets. You even entered the campus edge when you learned how to get Internet connectivity into the enterprise using BGP.
