13.26 | WIRING VHDL MODULES TOGETHER

Counter circuits can be connected to other digital modules to create larger systems. Design-

ing large digital systems becomes much easier if the system is subdivided into smaller,

more manageable modules that are then interconnected. This is the essence of the concept

of hierarchical design.

13.26.1 | Decoding the VHDL MOD-5 Counter
