I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Metrication of Sizes
Production of an entirely new range of metric heating and ventilating
equipment, components, and materials will take some years to
complete.
As an interim measure where the metric sized materials are not
yet available, the manufacturers are adding the equivalent metric
sizes to the Imperial dimensions shown in trade publications.
Light gauge copper tubes used for domestic water installations,
formerly covered by British Standards 659, 1386, and 3931, are now
contained in one metric standard, B.S. 2871: Part 1, in which the
tube sizes refer to outside diameter measurements in millimetres.
