It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

on ground floor of new building. Set out pipe run from plan, mark out for brackets,
lay pipes on brackets, and level up ready for jointing.

Caulk one joint on straight length, and clean up.

Make one rubber joint on straight length, and clean up.

Off load at site, valve, fitting, jointing materials, mark off and cut pipe for valve
or fitting, caulk two joints, and clean off.
