I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

How long has it been since you’ve worked with the management team at your company? If it’s been a while, perhaps it’s time to host an activity that will not only generate some revealing discussions but can also help create a list of impediments for you and the management team to focus on. Here’s what you can do:

Gather the management team into a large room that has plenty of space on the walls. Label one area of a wall “Why Scrum?”

Ask each participant to write their answer to the following question on a sticky note: “Why are we adopting Scrum?”

After everyone has written down their answer, have each person read their answer out loud (one at a time), and then post their answer in the “Why Scrum?” space.
