About the Author

Zarrar Chishti is a software and games development consultant who has developed and marketed more than 500 games for companies around the world.

Zarrar is sought after to advise on the development of viral games for major marketing campaigns. His work can involve him liaising with marketing directors for new launches and project managing teams of game developers and designers for large-scale development projects. He’s also involved in organizing and running game development courses and events.

After graduating from Glasgow University in 1996 with a prestigious joint honors degree in software engineering, Zarrar contracted as a software developer in both London and Los Angeles for five years. In 2001, he opened his own software firm in Glasgow, and within two years he was employing ten staff. By 2005, when he began to offer games development to his clients, his company had grown to a team of 30 people.

Recently Zarrar has been expanding his company, Tentacle Solutions, by opening offices in Southeast Asia and Eastern Europe, as well as partnering with key companies in Africa. Zarrar encourages you to engage with him on Twitter (@zarrarchishti) and LinkedIn (zarrarchishti).
