There is a need to enhance the application, and this cannot be achieved in one day. This will require a lot of meetings and discussions. Over the course of several meetings, the business and the development teams discussed the requirements of the new enhancements to the inventory management system. Progress toward defining a clear set of requirements was slow, and the vision of the final product was not clear. The development team decided to pare down the enormous list of requirements to just enough functionality so that a key individual could start to record some inventory information.
