I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Types of UML diagram
These diagrams are divided into two main groups:
- Structural UML Diagrams: These emphasize the things that must be present in the system being modeled. This group is further divided into the following different types of diagrams:
- Class diagram
- Package diagram
- Object diagram
- Component diagram
- Composite structure diagram
- Deployment diagram
- Behavioral UML Diagrams: These are used to show the functionality of the system and include use case, sequence, collaboration, state machine, and activity diagrams. This group is further divided into the following different types of diagram:
- Activity diagram
- Sequence diagram
- Use case diagram
- State diagram
- Communication diagram
- Interaction overview diagram
- Timing diagram
