So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Technical requirements
This chapter contains various code examples to explain the concepts of reactive programming. The code is kept simple and is only for demonstration purposes. Most of the examples involve a .NET Core console application written in C#.

Running and executing the code will require the following:
- Visual Studio 2019 (you can also use Visual Studio 2017)
- Setting up .NET Core
- SQL Server (the Express Edition is used in this chapter)
