The other Predix services

Predix time-series and Predix UAA are the fundamental services of Predix, but Predix supports dozens of other services, including blockchain, logging, App Composer, App Hub, queue, relational DB, NoSQL DB, and Spark. One of the most important services it supports is the Predix Asset. Predix Asset is an object store that stores information about assets that are monitored.

The following diagram shows the main components of Predix and the data flow from the edge devices to the final user. Data is acquired from sensors using Predix Machine through OPC-UA or modbus and then fueled into the Predix time-series.
