Steps 0, 1, and 2 – problem statement, dataset, and exploratory data analysis

We want to evaluate the RUL, assuming that we need to replace the wind turbine after it loses 16% of its performance. The dataset is a CSV file with a year's worth of data. The dataset contains the following:

• Time (sampled every 10 minutes)
• Wind speed (m/s)
• Generated power (kW)

We can compare our data with the physical model of a turbine to evaluate the loss of performance in order to predict degradation in the next 10 years.
