Chapter 1. The Tools Palette
Many QuarkXPress users are also Adobe Illustrator users, which makes the job of learning the InDesign tools much more simple. InDesign borrows heavily from the Illustrator tool box, so you will see a great many familar tools if you are an Illustrator user. But don’t skip over this chapter just because you know the Illustrator tools. There are some subtle but important differences between the two software programs.
