Once you’ve created or imported a table, it’s time to begin formatting it. In this chapter, we begin by discussing how to select tables and parts of tables. We then discuss the three main tools for formatting tables—the Table Options and Cell Options dialog boxes and the Table palette. We cover how to change a table’s structure—its size, and the rows and columns that make it up. Finally, we talk about formatting the table’s border and the strokes and fills of the individual cells.
