Chapter 4. Palettes and Windows

InDesign displays your document in a window very similar to QuarkXPress: The scroll bars, resizing features, and closing and window-minimizing features all follow the traditional rules of the operating system you’re using. Some window features are different, however. For instance, on both Mac and Windows InDesign sports a Window menu from which you can select open document windows (XPress only has one on the Windows platform).

Both InDesign and XPress also share the Tile and Cascade features, each of which take multiple documents and fit them within the available space on your monitor (though in different ways).
