Abstract
We describe a concept for an advanced manufacturing control system - the Smart Connected Control Platform. The approach enables a higher degree of automation, efficiency and control through a holistic model, decentralized production intelligence and modern sensor technology. Integrating ubiquitous and augmented reality interfaces supports human personnel in every aspect of the production process.
