Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of acoustic pattern registration for a new means of human computer interaction. It discusses the relationship between variations in correlation coefficients and signal pattern registration parameters including signal sampling rates, amplitude digitisation resolutions and recorded signal lengths. Experimental results have confirmed that the accuracy of acoustic pattern registration is related to the data acquisition parameters adopted.
