Distribution of Link Resource Information
An important underlying requirement for TE is the distribution of local link resource
information throughout the RRR network. The link resource attributes are flooded across
the network using extensions of the OSPF and IS-IS link-state routing protocols.
Existing link layer routing protocols flood the metric information for all the links in the
network, along with the network topology information, to calculate the shortest path to a
