The incoming interfaces on the Provider Edge routers are configured to define the CAR and
CDR parameters. The CAR and CDR values for the customer site are configured as 1.5
Mbps and 10 Mbps, respectively. All the VPN service provider backbone router interfaces
have MPLS CoS defined to differentiate traffic based on CoS values carried in an MPLS
packet.
