This appendix studies the Link-Layer Fragmentation and Interleaving (LFI) function using
the Multi-link Point-to-Point (MLPP) protocol. LFI is a link-layer efficiency mechanism
that improves the efficiency and predictability of the service offered to certain critical,
application-level traffic.
