The case studies in this book are designed to discuss the application and provide some
configuration details on enabling QoS functionality to help the reader implement QoS
in his network. It is not meant to replace the general Cisco documentation. Cisco
documentation is still the best resource for complete details on a particular QoS
configuration command.
The case studies in this book are based on a number of different IOS versions. In general,
most case studies are based on 12.0(6)S or a more recent 12.0S IOS version unless
