It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Database Maintenance Plan Wizard
The Database Maintenance Plan Wizard automates many of the common jobs a DBA normally performs. Before this wizard was developed, many DBA jobs were script based. With this wizard, however, you can now graphically automate backups, DBCC commands, and other administrative functions. A nice feature of the Database Maintenance Plan Wizard is that it can email results to an operator.
The following steps explain how to use the Database Maintenance Plan Wizard:
