I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using Compatibility Modes
Windows XP includes a set of compatibility modes, or collections of fixes that relate to specific operating systems. You can use a compatibility mode, for example, to run a Windows 95 program under Windows XP. This mode contains about 50 of the fixes from the SysMain.sdb file that are targeted specifically at Windows 95 programs. Because Windows XP has changed the location of certain folders, the compatibility mode “fix” translates between the different paths when data files need to be accessed.
