I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Summary
This chapter covered a lot of territory, and although it may at first seem like a lot information to absorb, keep in mind that most of you will be using Windows XP on a desktop system and not a high-end workstation. In that case, using a single, basic disk and creating the partitions you want will be more than sufficient for your needs.
However, if you want to operate your computer more like a server computer or you use high-end workstations that do things like animation, then you may want to create larger disk volumes. Network administrators may want to provide some fault-tolerant disk systems, such as RAID-5 on the computer.
