I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The New Windows Media Player
Windows XP is shipping with Windows Media Player 8. That much is certain. But like Internet Explorer, the Media Player tends to be upgraded more often than the operating systems. So while the initial distribution CDs for Windows XP include Windows Media Player 8, you may find a few months down the road after you purchase this book, that there is another version available as a free download from Microsoft.
Tip
Be sure to use the Windows Update feature to check on new upgrades for the Media Player application.
