So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Application Menu
Like Mac OS X programs everywhere, each Office program has a menu bearing its name, just to the right of the 
menu. It contains the Quit command, access to Preferences, and other commands that pertain to the program as a whole. It also has a few Finder commands, potentially saving you a trip to the desktop.
About [Program Name]
Opens a window displaying some legalese and, more importantly, the product ID for your copy of Office. A Microsoft representative may ask you for this number when you call a technical support phone number (which you can find by clicking the Support button).
The Reference Tools button doesn’t actually help with looking anything up; it just offers more legalese about any foreign language dictionaries you’ve installed.
Online Registration
In case you clicked Register Later when you first installed Office (see Appendix A), choose this command when you have the time to go through the registration process.
Application Menu Preferences
This command opens up the Preference window, which contains different panels for various types of settings (these are discussed throughout this book). Keyboard shortcut: ⌘-comma (,).
