Abstract

The op amp as an electronic device was originally invented to overcome the problems associated with drift in amplifiers over changing conditions of heat and time. Analysis methods introduced by Harry Black and H.W. Bode are crucial in understanding and applying modern op amps. The op amp has become a crucial and common place building block in today's analog circuitry.
