Creating a PDF File
With ODS Printer output your results are either printed output or a file of some type. If you're sharing your results at a meeting in your office, a paper copy might be fine. However, sometimes you do not have a printer available at the time you run your code, or you might want to share your results electronically. In those cases, you need a different option. Otherwise, if you want the same output again, you have to rerun the SAS program that created it.
To create a more permanent version of your output, you can ask ODS to create a PDF output file that you can then print at your convenience. PDF is a proprietary format created by Adobe. It allows other users to see your printed output exactly as you see it, even if they don't ...
