The Styles.Default template has style elements that allow you to format each of the titles and footnotes separately. Figure 14.31 shows the inheritance path as defined in Base.Template.Style. Notice how each title or footnote element inherits from the one above it. For example, SystemTitle5 inherits from SystemTitle4, and so on, until you get to SystemTitle, which inherits its attributes from the TitlesandFooters element.
The following PROC TEMPLATE step illustrates how you can change each of the ten titles separately in a style template. Each footnote in this template inherits its attributes from the same-numbered SAS title.
