It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Using Links and Anchors to Link Your Results to Your Web Site
By default, SAS creates anchor tag names starting with IDX and then adds a number after each subsequent tag. This is nice because the structure and cross links are set up with no effort required by the programmer. In addition, this behavior is predictable, so you can take advantage of it to integrate your output into a Web site.
For example, let's say you want to add the PROC UNIVARIATE output from the previous example to a Web site that contains other information about billing policies and hours. Figure 3.30 shows this Web page. Our company, the fictitious Computer Consulting Corporation, has this page already set up. It has links to other files for policies and forms.
