It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Appendix A. Operating System Differences
If you don't use the Windows operating system, don't worry. Most of the code presented in previous chapters works just fine on other systems. ODS is fairly platform independent.
In fact, if you are using the ODS OUTPUT statement, you do not have to change a thing in order to run on any other platform. Just point your LIBNAME statement to the data location on your platform and you're ready to go.
Where the differences come in is with the filenames you specify for your output files in the HTML and RTF destinations, the identification of the PRINTER destination, and a few options needed for transferring files between systems.
