When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Creating Output with Just the Results
When ODS creates a Web page, it includes not just your results, but also all of the HTML tags that are needed to tell a browser how to display the page. This includes the tags for things like the text for the title bar, a number of META tags that describe the output, and some script outlines that are not used by most types of ODS output. It also includes the HTML tags that begin and end the page.
All of this is useful if your ODS Web page will be used on its own. But if you want to embed your ODS results in an existing Web page, all of these extra tags get in the way. All you really need is the HTML for the part of the page that contains your results.
