I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Selecting Output for Multiple Procedures
The ability to limit your output is especially handy when you're doing repeated runs of the same procedure. For example, you might be running a series of models or a series of tables. If you were forced to keep all of the output from all of the procedures, your results could get unwieldy.
Using SELECT or EXCLUDE enables you to build a concise summary report from your results. For example, let's say you are running a bunch of crosstabulations, trying to identify variables with significant relationships. You can do this with a series of FREQ procedure steps.
