The previous chapter was just the beginning. Modifying the fonts gives you control over all of the text portions of your output. However, surrounding all of that text are things like tables, borders, bullets, and headings.
ODS enables you to change each of these items. You can change the shape of a table or modify its borders. You can change or remove the bullets in a table of contents or pages. You can change page and procedure headings.
The possibilities are infinite. This chapter gives you some of the basic code building blocks you need to make these kinds of changes. After that, it's up to you. You can reuse and combine these bits of code to create the look you desire.
