It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Modifying the Table Borders
Most ODS output is rendered in the form of tables. This allows your output to be organized and easy to read. The appearance of these tables is controlled by the style definition.
To see how different table designs can affect your output, just compare the HTML output in Figure 16.1 to that in Figure 16.2. Figure 16.1 shows how the Styles.Default style template formatted the PROC MEANS report on the data set BUILDINGS. The table borders in Figure 16.1 are flat-looking and narrow. Figure 16.2 shows how the style template Styles.D3D distributed with SAS formats the same report.
