I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
The Code in This Book
A great deal of code is presented in this book. Some of it is ordinary SAS procedures and DATA steps. In general, this code is not explained. Consult the SAS OnlineDoc for more information. The focus of the explanation in this book is on the ODS code.
In the code examples in this book, the ODS code is mixed in. To make it easier to spot the ODS code, all ODS statements are displayed in UPPERCASE. The rest of the code is in lowercase or mixed case. Do not be confused by this convention. ODS statements or options are equally correct whether they appear in uppercase, lowercase, or mixed case.
In general, all of the code in this book uses the default SAS options settings. However, the setting for DATE was changed from the default ...
