Diode Rectifiers
Abstract
State-of-the-art diode rectifier topologies are presented and analyzed in this chapter. This chapter includes a number of useful tables related to the conduction states of various rectifier topologies, definitions of Fourier series analysis, general useful relations for power electronics analysis and current harmonic limits according to international standards. In this chapter, a method for power quality analysis that can be used to determine all necessary knowledge related to the power components of a rectifier at its input and output under different load conditions is introduced. The conduction overlap phenomenon between two diodes is also examined. Solved problems and simulation results are included to help the reader ...
