1: What are some common reasons for splitting up a large enterprise network using BGP?
A1: To divide the administration of the network among several different groups, to allow the network to be rebuilt one small piece at a time, to handle situations where there are a large number of routes, and very little can be done in the way of aggregation or other techniques to reduce pressure on the interior gateway protocol.
