I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Conclusion
Routing protocols are designed to solve certain problems. BGP, for instance, is used for managing and exchanging huge set of routes within intra- and inter-autonomous domains. Providers and vendors gained experience while vendors implemented new features in BGP and tweaked its performance. The current deployment of BGP today in the Internet has proven its scalability and performance—an important advantage of BGP when used in an MPLS/BGP VPN environment. Using the tools available in BGP, a service provider can give customers highly efficient and well-managed VPN services throughout their network, and beyond their network through any partnering service provider in the world.
