I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Outbound Route Filtering
Outbound Route Filtering (ORF), described in IETF Internet-Drafts draft-ietf-idr-route-filter, draft-chen-bgp-prefix-orf, and draft-ietf-idr-aspath-orf, allows a BGP speaker to tell its peers what routes it will not accept based on local policy rules; this allows the speaker to not send those routes it knows will be discarded anyway, thereby saving resources on both sides on the connection. Figure 6.9 illustrates.
