Configuring Printers for WordPerfect for Linux

Rather than using the system printer settings, WordPerfect 8 installs its own printer drivers and works from its own settings. The easiest way to add a printer to WordPerfect for Linux is to do so while installing WordPerfect. When you run the installation script, WordPerfect asks you to select your printers from a list. Scroll through the list to select your printer. Highlight it and click Add. Next it asks you to assign your printer to a device. Select your printer from the list of installed printers and click Assign. You should receive a pop-up box with a list of devices (most users should select lpr). Then click OK.
