So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

We’ve covered quite a bit in this chapter. You’ve learned the basic premise and vocabulary of OLAP, including all the principles necessary to understand how to design a star/snowflake schema data warehouse/datamart and a cube based on it. In addition to all this theory, you’ve learned the practical skills of creating an Analysis Services project in Visual Studio and adding a data source, a data source view, a cube, and a time dimension to your project.
