So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter One. Why Digital?
Photography is not just f-stops, shutter speeds, camera optics, and film formats and even in this book, photography is not about pixels, sensors, media cards, or software. Photography is experience, exploration, expression, and communication. Whether you pick up a film or digital camera, photography is about seeing more clearly and sharing your vision with others. Sadly, we often (and this includes all three coauthors of this book) forget this essential fact as we get excited over a new digital camera or an update to a favorite piece of software that we can't wait to test-drive.
