stop band and an increase at band-edge modes for co-handed relative to cross-

handed radiation. The transit time in the intermediate band is consistent with the

linear dispersion at lower frequencies. These results confirm that the dip in the

CIPG is not the result of coherent resonant reflection within the chiral fiber but

is the result of scattering out of the fiber.
