24.5 HANDLING AND POST-DRAW PROCESSING

In our earlier discussions, we considered short time fiber strength, long time

fiber strength, fatigue and aging, all things that must be considered in the design

of the system under consideration if some reasonable assumptions about the

strength of the starting fiber are made. On the other hand, some type of fiber
