20.2.3.3 Using control spots/genes
This involves modifying the values of each channel/experiment such that cer-
tain control spots/genes in both experiments have the same or similar values.
The control spots sho uld span the whole intensity range. If the intensity o f a
control gene on array A is found to be c times higher than the intensity of
the same co ntrol gene on array B, all genes with intensity values in the same
range on array A should be divided by c in order to make them comparable
with the values re ad from array B.
