A Space-Saving Rain Wall |
Act III of The Yale Repertory Theatre’s 1998 production of Hayfever required a forty-minute rain effect just upstage of an interior setting. To keep the stage as dry as possible throughout that torrent, we devised the slim-profile rain wall shown in Figure 1, whose components included a rain curtain, a delivery system, and a collection-and-recycling system.
