I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
10. The Law of Compensation
You are always fully compensated for whatever you do, positive or negative.
There is perfect justice in the world, at least in the long term. Whatever you put in, you get out. The more you give, the more you receive. If you want to increase the quality and quantity of your rewards, you must increase the quality and quantity of your contribution.
My friend Zig Ziglar, the speaker and motivator, has formulated what we might call Ziglar’s Law, which is a paraphrase of the Law of Compensation. It says, “You can have anything you want in life if you just help enough other people get what they want.”
