Recycling Attending

To help others to recycle, or revisit, their involvement in the helping process, we recycle our attending skills. This means preparing the helpees, the context and ourselves for helping. This means attending personally by our physical posture and orientation. This means observing vigilantly and listening attentively. Although we have used these same skills before, we will find that in order to involve our helpees, we must revisit these simple yet profound skills.
