Serviceability—Five 9s
Availability and performance goals and standards set the service expectations for the Cisco
support team and help to define service and support requirements for the IP Telephony
network. We included performance factors such as delay, jitter, maximum throughput, and
bandwidth commitments. Availability for a converged network includes IP Telephony and
gateway availability, in addition to overall network availability.
